Calling all former AGC Education Foundation scholarship recipients!

We’re inviting all former scholarship recipients to take part in our second-annual Giving Day on March 1! Help support your alma mater by making a donation to the Education Foundation’s 2016-2017 Annual Fund, which supports construction management scholarships, education grants, and our general programs.

Did you know…

  • The Foundation has awarded nearly $800,000 in scholarships since its inception in 1980
  • The Foundation has covered the cost of travel expenses for university students to attend the ASC Reno competition for the past five years through its grants program
  • The Foundation hosts current students annually for “Mentorship Days”, giving them access to an alumni panel of industry professionals and large-scale jobsites

These programs wouldn’t be possible without the support of our gracious donors, who recognize the importance of giving back to the industry. Gifts will help current students and grant recipients achieve their academic and financial goals, as well as enable us to fulfill our mission of developing and promoting construction careers through education and training.

About our Scholarships Program

The AGC Education Foundation Scholarships Program is committed to supporting the education of men and women interested in careers in the construction industry, and has provided scholarships totaling nearly $700,000 to more than 350 students. About our Education Grants Program

The AGC Education Foundation Education Grants Program provides support to schools and programs that promote academic and technical training in construction, raise awareness of construction career in grades K-12, and support outreach that addresses construction industry workforce development issues. Priority is given to grant proposals that encourage careers in construction, make effective use of volunteers and/or matching funds, and create a positive impact on construction workforce issues in Washington state.
